About GloWe
Global Learning, Open Knowledge & Wisdom Exchange.
Why GloWe exists
Local communities already hold practical knowledge about education, health, climate, food, rights, resilience, and care. Too often, that knowledge stays locked inside one place, one language, one report, or one organization. GloWe is being built to help field-based knowledge travel: clearly, respectfully, and in ways other people can adapt.
What we believe
We do not look down or preach. We stand next to each other, listen, learn, and act together. Sometimes you give; sometimes you need help. Both are part of a healthy community.
What GloWe makes possible
- Share applied field knowledge in a format others can understand and use
- Find projects, organizations, volunteers, experts, and practical needs
- Open wishes, opportunities, posts, and discussions around real work
- Support multilingual access so knowledge is not limited to English-speaking spaces
- Build trust through profiles, community review, and clear next steps
